Global Missions

Haiti District Project

Our local church is working to raise $2,000.00 towards our Haiti District Project which is raising money to purchase goats for families.  To purchase a goat for a family in need in Haiti only cost $75.00.  That goat helps to  provide milk, meat and “kids” for a lifetime for families and villages in need of the basic necessities of life. Be in prayer as to what God would have you give towards this worthy project.

Honduras Work and Witness Trip

On July 1st - July 13th, our church is sending 7 people to Honduras to help build a second story on the Children's School in Calan.  We as a church would like to help pay for the materials toward that building project.  We are needing 60 people to give $5.00 a week from now until July 1st (or $35.00 total).  Be in prayer as to what God might have you give.

Global Missions Ministries

At Kennewick Nazarene we place a great emphasis on the support of global missions. We actively give a portion of our offereings to support missionaires and mission work around the world.  We participate in Alabaster Offerings, Child Sponsorship, L.I.N.K.S., and through our support of the World Evangelism Fund, we support such ministries as The Jesus Film Harvest Ministry, World Mission Radio, The Hunger and Disaster Fund as well as helping to support many hospitals, clinics and universities around the world.

L.I.N.K.S. [Loving. Interested. Nazarenes. Knowing (and) Sharing.]

One way the Nazarene church helps local congregations to stay connected with the mission field is to assign Missionary families to local churches. LINKS is a way for everyone to get involved in a ministry of encouraging missionaries.  Our Missionary Family is the Mann Family.

Douglas and Jennifer Mann are Missionaries in Kosovo.  They have two beautiful children, Jonathan and Sarah.  Doug was a missionary for 5 years in Romania, where he met Jennifer, fell in love and got married.  After that they were assigned to Perus and shortly in Albania when they felt laying on their heart the people of Kosovo.  Currently, the Mann family heads up the mission activites in Kosovo.  They work with administration, volunteerism, theological classes, Sunday School, Discipleship, and church planting.  Douglas is on faculty at the Euraisa Nazarene College as the Learning Center Coordinator and Administrator for our area.

The Mann's have asked for prayer for the Kosovo churches as they continue to grow with new believers and in faith as tey are all engaged in discipship groups.  Please pray for the volunteers to come and join their team.  Finally, pray for the Prishtina church.  They are currently in the process of looking to raise money for a building.

If you would like to send our missionary family a gift or letter of encouragement, please contact the church office for more information.
