Cross Cultural Class
This class is a diverse group in both age and background and yet we are united in our desire to grow in our relationship with Christ and each other. This class studies different books of the Bible, using study guides to delve deeper into the heart of Scripture. In our class, we work hard to foster an open discussion group that seeks to apply the truths of God's word to our lives. Fred Cyr is the teacher of this class.
The Deeper Walk Class
This class is a leader led open discussion group studying the Bible in depth. We are an age mixed group of both singles and married couples who support each other through prayer and fellowship. This class has 2 discussion leaders: one who leads the discussion of life application and the other leader who leads the discussion on the history and origin of the Bible passages we are studying. We welcome new participants to our group, and consider all attendees to be members of our family. Linda Sleater and Bill Smith are the facilitators of this class.
Friendship Class
The Friendship Class is a group of "Young at Heart" caring, retired seniors, coming from many diverse backgrounds. This group brings a wealth of life experiences and knowledge to the discussion. In this class, the Bible is explored in its variety, scope, literature and themes. "We desire to allow the Word of God to speak for itself as we discover its message, understanding its proper context and application." Participants are taught the importance of inductive study in a unique, relaxed, informal manner that continually asks the question, "why?" This quarter, our focus is on Lent, Easter and the "Acts of the Apostles." Bill Zuroff and Joe Guilford are the teachers of this class.
The God Seekers
This class is currently studying the book of John. Don and Bonnie Williams are the teachers of this class.
The Book of Acts
In this class, we have been exploring the Book of Acts and how our lives can be shaped by its accounting. This class is facilitated by Lyle Jackson.
